Chopper
Our Silage service can be a full or part service. We have a Claas 850 self propelled Chopper. The chopper can be hired with an experienced operator. We have three 12T trailers which can be supplied with a tractor and operator or hired as stand alone machines.
Mowers
We have a front and back triple mower configuration with groupers, supplied with operator & tractor. A single back mower option is also available, which gives a 3m cut with single or grouped rows.
Wholecrop
Wholecrop service is available with a disc header, giving a 6m cutting width.
Baling
Baling is available for hay and straw with a fixed chamber McHale baler. Silage & Haylage bales are created using the state of the art Fusion baler which bales & wraps at the same time. A seperate wrapper can also be provided if prefered. Bales can be either traditional net & plastic or plastic & plastic which can be fully recycled and creates high quality bales, especially good for Haylage. These are supplied with tractors & operators. For the production of Hay we have a Tedder for turning the hay and a Rake for rowing it up in preparation for baling. Our balers will produce round bales.
Buck Rake
The Buck rake is supplied with experienced operator & tractor.
Tedder & Rake
We have a 9m Tedder to turn the silage to increase dry matter and a Rake which can create a 9m row in preparation for the chopper.
